Study Timeline Update: The MMM Trail Study draft report has been completed and will be delivered to the National Park Service headquarters for review in late June. When this review period is complete (about 30-45 days) NPS will conduct a public comment period of between 30 and 45 days. Printed
copies of the draft report will be delivered to State and Federal
legislators, Municipal government offices, and town libraries. A copy of the full report will be posted on this website.
In addition, at least two public meetings will be held in convenient locations to review the report and solicit comment. Mechanisms will also be set up for the public to deliver comments via, mail, email, and telephone. Once the comment period is complete, it will be the responsibility of NPS to incorporate appropriate comments into a final study report. The final report will be printed and delivered to NPS in Washington, who will publicly release it along with a formal recommendation for action.
